Using UDL to Advance Accessibility & Equity
Join NEean and CAST for an exciting day-long program where we will take a deep dive into how assessments drive equity and access. The program will kick off with a keynote from CAST where we will learn how we can better ensure success for all learners using a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) mindset. Following the morning's keynote, attendees will engage in workshops facilitated by CAST's national faculty who have expertise in translating UDL into practice. Workshop themes will be focused on three areas of strategic emphasis:
1) Course Design; 2) Media & Materials; and 3) Accessibility & Policy. The program will close out as we come back together to share lessons learned and plans for driving equity and access by capitalizing on UDL principles.
