Student Voice in Assessment and Learning: A Primer
Join NEean for an insightful day-long program where we will explore how to situate student voice in assessment and incorporate powerful strategies to drive equitable, accessible, and authentic learning. The program will kick off with a keynote from Dr. Natasha Jankowski, a higher education and assessment expert. Her keynote will address the why and how to involve student voice in the assessment process. Following the keynote, attendees will engage in an interactive workshop to develop an action plan to include student voice in the assessment cycle, across the institution, and within the classroom. In the second workshop, participants will learn about a specific case, the Student Assessment Research (StARs) program at UC Davis, reflect, and share insights.
