Opening Plenary Workshop

Equity and Learning Assessment:  Inextricably Linked for Student Success and for Social Justice

This workshop will draw from discussion of the AAC&U's efforts to make excellence both inclusive, and a guiding principle for access, student success, and high-quality learning. Participants will work on strategies for their own institution for how to design and assess high-quality educational experiences that promote student engagement, achieve equity in student outcomes, and value students' "cultural wealth."
